2010 Wrap Up

2010 brought lots of change in my personal life as well as my career...some bad, but lots of good as well. I worked on some great projects here in Michigan with some awesome organizations and agencies. Probably the most rewarding commercial job in 2010 would have to be the "Give Hope" campaign for WMCAT (West Michigan Center for Arts & Technology). The team over at Plenty Creative (www.plentycreative.com) put together a great layout and concept for a fundraising mail campaign for current & potential donors for the non profit arts and technology organization (WMCAT). I spent two years during college as a youth photography instructor at WMCAT...so it was super rewarding to come back and produce work that will benefit the organization that gave me so much experience and opportunity. Please check out WMCAT on line at www.wmcat.org. I had time to work on a few personal projects and few just for fun shoots with some friends. Im looking to put together some sort of print promo with some of this work...on my list for 2011. Here are a few sample shots and tears from a few of the mention projects above (click to enlarge). Goals for 2011: put together new (non flash) website, show my portfolio in state and out, create more personal work, travel & explore, personal work, rock out & live it up, never make photography a "JOB". Heres to a new and prosperous year.
